Licensing procedures

The steps for the Photovoltaic Roof application are the following:
  1. Connection application to PPC local network (by region). As precondition is the person concerned has already selected the type of the equipment be installed and the relevant technical study has been conducted.

  2. According to the Law 3851/2010 on Renewable Energy Sources for PV Systems up to 10kW, it is no longer required approval from the relevant Planning Zone Service for the issuance of the Execution of Small Scale Works Approval; it simply requires a statement to PPC that the installation of such system begins.

  3. Submit instruction application of the Connection Agreement to the local electricity network service (PPC).

  4. Signing of the Connection Agreement with the simultaneous deposit of the relevant expenditure to the local PPC network service.

  5. Submit instruction application of the Net-Metering Agreement to the local Trading Service of PPC, or the offices of another supplier (if PPC is not the electricity supplier for the specific consumption meter that a net-metering will be accomplished).

  6. Signing of the Net-Metering Agreement.

  7. Submit the application of the connection activation to the local PPC network service. Preconditions are the facility readiness and the completion of the connection works.
